The University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music is a state-of-the-art facility housing abundant resources. Designed to provide the highest quality of education and experience for our students, CCM has also hosted international events including the 2010 International Viola Congress and exchange events with conservatories and universities internationally.

CCM’s world-class facilities provide a highly creative and multidisciplinary artistic environment. The school's campus, which is commonly referred to as the CCM Village, is equipped with state-of-the-art classroom, studio and performance facilities.

The CCM Village is primarily housed in four buildings:

  • Corbett Center for the Performing Arts

  • Dieterle Vocal Arts Center

  • Mary Emery Hall

  • Memorial Hall

In 2017-18, CCM completed a $15 million infrastructure project to upgrade the overall technology of its performance venues and advance the student experience. CCM’s state-of-the-art facilities provide students with professional-level working and learning environments to prepare them for future careers.

CCM–Mary Emery Hall

Completed in September 1999, Mary Emery Hall is CCM’s central administrative and instructional space, as well as the home for the college's impressive electronic media facilities.

Facilities include:

  • College and administrative offices

  • Expanded classroom and teaching studio facilities, including two large master classrooms

  • The Walter and Marilyn Bartlett Television Production Center, consisting of a full multi-camera television studio and control room

  • The Lawrence A. Leser Newsroom equipped with a Comprompter ENR system

  • The J. Ralph Corbett Audio Production Center with audio recording studio

  • The Judy and Jim Van Cleave Multimedia Laboratory

  • The Jack and Joan Strader Radio Center, a closed circuit cable radio station, a teleconferencing facility and the TV Cable Channel 4

  • Electronic piano lab with 28 pianos

  • Early Music and World Music lab

  • Division offices for electronic media, composition, musicology and theory, and music education.

  • Internet-ready classrooms

  • Faculty offices

  • Starbucks

Memorial Hall

Memorial Hall, which opened in Fall 1996, was converted from a dormitory into individual and chamber music practice rooms and teaching studios.

Facilities include:

  • Teaching studios for piano, harpsichord, strings and winds

  • Over 70 practice rooms

  • Chamber music rehearsal rooms

  • Center for Computer Music (ccm2) studios
